Degree in Architecture from the Lisbon Technical University, Inês Lobo started her freelance activity in 2002 with the studio Inês Lobo, Arquitectos. Before that, she held a teaching position and worked closely with the architect João Luís Carrilho da Graça. She has extensive professional experience in Portugal and abroad - she was the curator and commissioner of several architectural exhibitions. In particular, she was responsible for the Portuguese representation at the Venice Biennial of 2012 and she was also responsible for the Portuguese delegation at the VIII BIAU - Iberian-American Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism. Nevertheless, she has also received awards - she won the Prize "Women creators of Culture" (2013) and the Prize ArcVision - Women and Architecture (2014) and she has published works, mainly in the media of that field.
